Draft, 2010 4 Elf Release Party. Hazy orange-brown body, medium tight cream head. Faded hops nose with slight diacetyl notes, grassy. Bready body, again with hints of diacetyl, with modest herbal, leafy hops. Tasted a bit oxidized.

deyholla (6481) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - OCT 26, 2010
Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured a hazy amber orange with a near white head edges. Aroma was full of citrus with a bit of pine and a backing bread note. Flavor was full of citrus as well with some floral and a bit of bread backing to balance the beer.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
TheAlum (5530) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2010
Draft on tap at Tribes Alehouse (Mokena, IL). Pours a hazy dulled amber gold hue, a bit darker, a frothy offwhite moderate head dies to a decent film, laces ok. Aromas are a fruity melange of hops, lemons and grass, florals, a touch of gumball and sweeter tropical fruit touch the nose. Bready malts beneath, fresh hoppy nose. Initial is thinner bodied, easily put back and lighter, moderate bitterness, florals and lemons, doughy bread and grass, with a touch more lemon, bitter and citrusy, with a touch of lemon cookie sweetness emerging from beneath. A more tame APA, the fresh hops are pleasant on the nose, although they fall back a bit on the palate. Lemons and bread dough mostly, decent hopping overall. A touch of watery lemonade, not bad overall and certainly goes back easy. Not bad. Lemon bomb, decent hopping, goes down easy in a small rating. Not towards the head of the pack though.

shadey (1879) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 15, 2010
On tap at the Brewery. Their harvest beer. Dark muddy amber color with a big creamy head. Very smooth and easy to drink with plenty of big malt character. The hops add a spiciness and help clean up the sweetness of the malt - made me think of fall and big winter-warmers. I liked it.

Hazy apricot colored body. Small white head. Aroma of indistinct hops and citrus. Light lemon, coriander and wheat. Sweet. Was told it was a harvest. Seems more of a spicy summer shandy.
