3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours burnt orange with ivory head. Aromas of tropical fruit, rich malt, grapefruit, piney hops. Taste is citrus, well-balanced maltiness, slightly sweet, nice lasting bitterness. My favorite of the three Dekoorc Eert offerings.

Another gift from the Nordloh MI beer tour...thanks!! Pours a foggy orange that is almost an apple cider brown. One finger head. Pine nose and initial taste. Get a malty sweetness snuggled amongst the hoppy bitter. Very tasty; wish it was available more widely!

There is a real classic cascade character to this and I like it. Itís cloudy orange, almost brownish w/a head of fine bubbles. Nose on this reminds me quite a lot of SNPA, which makes pretty much perfect sense. Itís round and citrusy w/ a bit of pine, probably a touch more on the earthy side than SNPA. This is nice and bitter plus a little bit sweet w/o being terribly heavy. Itís full bodied, rich and substantial. Single hop cascade beers donít always do it for me but this works quite nicely.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
64oz plastic growler fill at a PC in Latham NY. Pours a murky dark Amber brown. Little to the nose except mineral whiffs and faint hops a ng with peppercorn. Lacing is nice/medium, head is about half inch. Taste of mineral orange, English Ipa all the way, more phat malt bombs than hops. OK.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle @home bought from www.beer-shop.gr. Pours hazy almost opaque amber, big white head, fair lacing, medium to full body, soft carbonation, oily bitter mouth feel, dry finish, bitter aftertaste with slight but detectible hints of chalk and minerals. Heavy presence of hops (after all, itís a single Cascade hop experimental version of Dark Horseís and Crooked Tree) fruity and floral aromas, citrus, pine, dry fruits, mild malty sweetness detected but mostly bitter hoppy character. A very good choice if you want to explore single hops, as I did.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber, looks darker than the ff I just had. Hazed, yeast debri. Aroma is cardboard beef soy sauce and herbal, candy toffee malts, light floral. WTF- second bottle of a mixed single hop pack that is off. Not good. First of all this should have been refrigerated, not off room temp shelf, second Im concluding this has been sitting out in the sun for some time in this hot weather this summer. This is almost identical to the ff beer, I know its the same recipe but hops are vegetabley. Its ok nothing more to say for what I paid, I feel they are not worth it- Under 20 bucks would have been more reasonable unless they could have been fresh or stored properly.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This draft brew from a tavern poured a small sized head of finely sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated dark orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was of citra hops. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a strong lingering citra hop finish. The nice flavor contained strong notes of citra hops bitter and tingly. Overall, I liked it but the strong citra hop flavor is hard to put into the quaffable category.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark orange to dark amber hazy pour with a three finger, fluffy white head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel, toast, light bready notes, muted citrus zest, sweet citrus, a little spiciness, dusty prairie flower, cracker, and light, sweet nutty notes. Flavor is bread, toast, dusty caramel, and dried orange peel up front, then light pine, red grapefruit, a sort of lemon lime mineral water thing and a hint of leafy floral notes. Medium body, slightly chewy, of dry entry, medium carbonation, dry finish. God stuff, dry and citrusy.

Tap @ Jack Brown. Hazy off-orange with thin head. Smells very sweet. A little wheaty at first, then the bitterness kicks in. Peppery.
