3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle pours a hazy orange with some thin, lacing, white head. Nose is what you expect from Cascade, a little pissy, piney, soapy, some dried orange peel. The malt comes through in the flavor, a crackery/biscuity, mild orange, piney, a little dried herbs, soap. Bitter finish. A bit amateurish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an amber orange color with a fluffy foam head that sticks to my glass. The aroma is hop driven of floral and citrus notes. There was a nice blending of malty sweetness behind the hoppy aroma. As for the flavor there was a defined grain taste with a mild sweet tone that went well together. There was a very clean and pleasant citra bitterness in the finish and a slight dryness from the booze. Overall this was a smoother and more tame version of the crooked tree. It is very good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear dark copper with two fingers of tan head and great sticky lacing. Aroma of citrus, brown sugar and some floral hops. Taste of citrus and floral hops with so e floral bitterness. Light brown sugar sweetness and a hint of toastiness with a bit of spiciness also. Finishes mostly dry with moderate floral bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate/high carbonation. Good IPA with a bit more malt than I typically like.
