tectactoe (2027) - Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Bottle: murky amber body with a gray-tinted, soapy & thin film covering the top. Aroma is full of leaves, floral hops, mild fruit juiciness, grapefruit, & a substantial caramel essence in the background from the malt. Taste includes white pepper spice, leaves, grass, & light floral notes. Citrus gets stronger with time, though itís muted at first. Bitter pith, orange peel, grapefruit rind. Caramel malt is a bit toned down on the palate, but still lingers in the aftertaste. Good take on Crooked Tree, though the regular is still better.

teddybeer (2244) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 13, 2013
Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head, nice lacework and good duration. Aroma has notes of pine, resind, bittery ornages and light citrus. Flavor is very fruity, dominated by bittery oranges traces, grapefruit with a good maltiness. The final has a decent bitterness with good duration.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4971) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky apricot-tan color with a medium sized creamy-soapy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy with vague fruity hops, Windex, lemon and bread. The flavor was bitter and tangy with notes of bread, lemon, Windex and perfume. Medium length bitter, and tangy lemon and perfume finish. Medium body. Meh.

5000 (6300) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 17, 2013
Bottle:   Dirty straw, actual chunks of stuff floating in this one, and they arenít small either.   Soft sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Resiny nose, slight pine.   Sweet citrusy start, moderate bitterness.   So far better than FF or Artic.   Even a slightly floral note.   Fairly bright, decent balance between bitterness and sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Lingering citrus and pine like bitterness, soft floral notes.   Pretty tasty.   Thanks Kevin!

Draft. Pours orange with a thin white head. Piney hops, lightly sweet malts, and medium lingering bitterness. Not bad.

MrBunn (2461) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly brownish gold with a decent head and soapy citrus aromas. Flavor is a mix of soap, lemongrass, cat pee and toffee, but the toffee is odd and really subtle. Mouthfeel is thin and the beer finishes with a lemony zestiness.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 Similar to crooked tree but a little more crisp. So far best in series and easy to drink

On tap at Milltown. Thanks, Ethan! Nice light orange pour, plenty carbonated and vibrant looking. Nicely grassy nose, some straw and citrus rind. Smooth bodied but lively on the palate. Bright grapefruit notes pop up in the taste, with just enough malts in there for balance, but this is largely bracingly grassy. Enjoyed it.

Draft at Caponeís. Pours hazy orangy with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, resiny floral hops, orange zest. Tastes caramel malty, with some bitter tangeriney, resiny hoppy, and mild floral notes in the finish.

7/26/2013: Dark Horse Edacsac Dekoorc Eert - Iím pretty sure there is something wrong with this keg since the beer looks like peanut butter in the glass. No joke. It is completely opaque and really dirty looking, but is a dull, unnatural brown color that reminds me of Better ín Peanut Butter spread. Even though this beer looks terrible, it actually doesnít taste too bad and is even a bit better than the Dark Horse F.F. Dekoorc Eert. That having been said, this still isnít a very good beer. It has some decent fresh, leafy hopiness and moderate bitterness, but thatís about it besides sweat and a weird wheat characteristic. Everything else seems to just be lost in the liquid yeast cake that Iím apparently trying to drink. Overall, poor quality control on this one. This keg should have never made it out of the brewery.

Draught (sample and pint) at Party Town in Florence, KY. Rating #74 for this beer.
