Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate spruce earthy, citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, fruity biscuit malt with floral hops, light must. In mouth, a grassy malt with herbal bitter hops, white grapefruit, nice.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy orangy with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, resiny floral hops, orange zest. Tastes caramel malty, with some bitter tangeriney, resiny hoppy, and mild floral notes in the finish.

Bottle from La Atlántica bottle shop, Santiago de Compostela consumed at home Thursday 3rd July 2014 Quite a warm orangey colour but a bit murky as well with a filmy, sticky creamy, slim white head. This is a step up from the other two of this series that I’ve had but still has the malty, slightly typical American crystal malt thing that stands out in a lot of their hoppy beers. Hoppy but with a lingering sweetness, a gentle hoppy burn/warmth. We both like this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Solid ipa that showcases both the spice and citrus of the cascade hop. Not as tropical as the citra.

On tap at Local Option. Pours a hazy orange with a soapy white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong pine note with hints of onion and grapefruit. Flavor has strong pine with a bit of resin and a touch of grapefruit as well as a grain backbone.

Bottle:   Dirty straw, actual chunks of stuff floating in this one, and they aren’t small either.   Soft sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Resiny nose, slight pine.   Sweet citrusy start, moderate bitterness.   So far better than FF or Artic.   Even a slightly floral note.   Fairly bright, decent balance between bitterness and sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Lingering citrus and pine like bitterness, soft floral notes.   Pretty tasty.   Thanks Kevin!

12oz bottle, thanks to Casey. Somewhat hazy orange - yellow / amber color. Fine particles suspended in the body. Thin white head. Some lace. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Kind of crisp. Some grapefruit - citrus, light pine, spicy hop. Biscuity malt. More sweet taste. Light bitter. Kind of an unnecessarily spicy flavor overall, but still a decent IPA.
