3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a murky orange-copper, with little to no head. Rather muted floral-citrus aroma. Flavor is a good, strong, bitter mix of fruitiness and hop bite. Nice full mouthfeel with hop stickiness. Not bad at all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, pine, orange, hints of caramel, toffee, some bready, yeasty notes in there. Taste is a mix of grass, biscuit, bread, hints of grain, some slight orange, finishing bitter, dry. Not much there, but not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a very dark honey color with a tinted orange white fuzzy head. A fresh citrus carameled hop aroma. A smooth soft feel that starts with a nice orange citrus hop note. A heavy caramel malt back feel. Overall a decent IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shows off the fruity aromas and flavors of Falconer’s Flight hops. Very tasty and a fun way to compare the different hop cultivars.

Had this on tap @ White Horse. Nice hop profile, pretty solid overall. Had a few beers before this. I enjoy Falconer Flight hop apparently. Thanks Dark Horse.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This pours a semi-cloudy golden amber color with a slight head. The aroma is big and bold with citra hops. The taste is unique with a light yet big bold hoppy taste. It finishes with a bit of a sour pineapple after taste. Another big and hoppy brew from dark horse which won’t let you down.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light orange-brown color. Aroma is caramel - kind of odd - and some grassy hops. Taste is grassy and floral hops, a pretty assertive malt, caramel sweetness with a pine resin aftertaste. I think this one is as well balanced as "regular" Crooked Tree, and my favorite of the "twists" I’ve tried (only two others Ollopa and Edacsac, admittedly). I really enjoy it when a quality brewer tries experiments like these, and I especially enjoyed the 12-pack variety pack this came in (the 3 each of the 3 "twists" and 3 regular Crooked Trees).

Bottle... Pours hazy and amber with a small, short-lived, off-white head. The aroma is all things Falconer’s Flight - tropical fruits and citrus fruits (grapefruit and lemon) accompanied by a mild floral component and a tea biscuit backbone. Medium-bodied and thin with vibrant carbonation. Well, this is an IPA and it’s bitter, so no real surprises here. Short, crisp, medium-bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of FlandersNed!
