Hazy orange pour with a white head. Kind of a weird nose. Hints of banana but an otherwise straightforward bread, floral hop, pine, and grapefruit aroma. Slight sweetness of bread and banana on the palate. Some pine bitterness, grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. A touch of grass and tropical fruit on the finish.

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop and small sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This a solid brew.

Bottle... Pours hazy and amber with a small, short-lived, off-white head. The aroma is all things Falconer’s Flight - tropical fruits and citrus fruits (grapefruit and lemon) accompanied by a mild floral component and a tea biscuit backbone. Medium-bodied and thin with vibrant carbonation. Well, this is an IPA and it’s bitter, so no real surprises here. Short, crisp, medium-bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of FlandersNed!

Sample at the Hills Market beer tasting on 07/25/2013. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, roast malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid dark straw with off-white head. Nose is bready pale malt, resiny hops, tropical fruit. Tastes as it smells, with assertive tropical fruit and resiny hop notes.

Bottle from La Atlántica bottle shop, Santiago de Compostela consumed at Frank (camper) at Camping Deva Gijon, Asturias, Wednesday 25th June 2014 Pours dark orangey actually more a murky amber with a sticky creamy lasting white head. Once again I have to confess to being somewhat underwhelmed by these beers frm this brewery, I cannot see a BBD on the bottle so cannot be sure how fresh it is, but as Loz suggested maybe they’re not so fresh. There is a hoppiness and bitterness here but somehow the sticky, slightly syrupy incessant malts overide all. Ok A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2013 Draft. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. Juicy almost berry-like aroma and flavor. Nectar of the gods. Bottle it was hugely disappointing.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that lasts throughout hte beer. Aroma has a nice balance of pine, citrus and grassiness backed by a grain note. Flavor is more dank with a bit of onion and pine with an earthy sweet grain backing.
