Tap at Old Capital Tavern. Pours clear gold with a hint of pink. Aroma is yeast, malts and fruit. Interesting flavors of malts and yeast. Its a high abv fruit beer honestly. Too much carbonation for me.

Good sweet beer with a clear cherry aroma. My only problem is out borders on trading like cough syrup. Medium body.

Draft at Jerry’s. Pale rose-amber with good, foamy white head / Stylish nose of banana, cherry, and grape / Medium body, somewhat fat and creamy, restrained fruit and mostly dry with nice, bitter finish / Flavors of fresh cherry, grape, and resin with notes of banana / These fruit beers can be over the top, but this is restrained and elegant.

On tap at Pig Minds as a guest beer, pours a clear dark orange golden with a thin head and some sticky lacing, the aroma has a good amount of fruit and candy sugar, the flavor is smooth with a lot of cherry in the finish, nice mouthfeel, not bad.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Clear gold pour with a small white head. Fruit aroma and taste (cherry, apricot, and grape). Good carbonation. Nice brew.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Nice fruity cherry sweet base, with light spicy yeast, apricot, and pale malts. Pretty good.

Draft. Bright vlear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of very fruity white wine. Taste is apricot and peach with a bitter finish. Nice stuff.

Draft. Medium off-white head, murky amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, cherry, light raspberry, alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, cherry, some alcohol. Medium body, some stickiness.

Quite a solid beer by Dark Horse. The cherry to me is very natural; could be juice and/or real, but one thing it is not is medicinal. The beer needs to warm up to get the spicy belgian yeast phenols of the base triple, and this one has some earthiness (slight mushroom) - I like the aroma, with the tart cherry wafting in. The flavor is tart, sour and sweet. As the beer warms you notice the fruit less and the triple sweetness with pepper combination more. Had a large glass at Dark Horse and shared a growler among four people NYE. I like the fruit beers at DH (since 2001).
