Bottle. One of the strangest Kolschs I have ever tried and a pretty weird beer. Cloudy orange appearance with a lot more power than expected. Lots of fruitiness with a full on flavour. Although I have rated it a 4 it could have easily have been a 3 but it was so different that I struggled to come to grips with it. Weird and wonderful.

blipp (5646) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - APR 6, 2013
Draft. Pours deep gold with a thin white head. Grainy malty, with herbal-ish hops, and lightly sweet malts. Doesn’t taste very fresh. Not great.

TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Pours dark amber with a fully receding off-white head. Notes of sweet malt and caramel. Medium to full bodied, sweet with soft carbonation. Strange for a kolsch.

bottle - Pours hazy and bubbly yellow-orange with a small, dense, lasting white head. Mildly bitter, crisp hops flavor is joined by bready malt in this refreshing, light to medium bodied beer. Pretty good.
