3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep amber with a thin tan head and some particulates. Aroma of caramel, light fruit, mild noble hops, kind of ESBish. Taste is sweet and fruity with brown sugar, mild toasted malt with a sweet finish. A lot sweeter and a heck of a lot better than I expected given the milquetoast style.

From notes. Bottle poured into a shaker. Spicy bread with a little dried apple. Meh, it’s ok. Pretty solid beer but nothing too special.

strange fruity aroma. caramel malt. Not what I expected from a kolsch at all.
Flavour is medium malt, toasted tones, some grassy/fruity hop?

I’ve never had a Polish Kolsch before, and this was somewhat different than the ones from Germany I’ve sampled, but it was damn good. Very balanced flavor, light but not too light, good looking in a glass. I dug it.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark cloudy appearance. Not much aroma. Quite bland and boring. Malty sweet finish. After trying the crooked tree and the reserve ale from dark horse, this was a major disappointment.
