3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 strongpieman (1180) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - NOV 15, 2012Bottle. Cloudy, amber to carmel color, soft thin head. Very different than a typical kolsch. Medium body, malt and rye comes out. Different for style but overall pretty good.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tectactoe (30) - - JUN 19, 2013
The most un-Kolsch-like Kolsch in existence. Thick, murky copper color with a beige-tan head. What? Mild fruity sourness in the aroma, cherries, lemons, grapes. Grainy, and filled with some sweet malts somewhere between toasted bread and light caramel. Initial tartness twinge on the palate - lots of apples, cherries, and big-time plum. Staunch bitterness is offset by an earthy, malty sweetness; biscuits, toasted bread, caramel. Surprisingly "boozy" feeling for only 5.5% ABV with a pretty heavy and sticky mouth feel. This beer wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t very good, either. Not to mention, it resembles a Kolsch in almost no way.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 golumm76 (26) - FRANCE - JUN 17, 2013
au premier regard une belle bière, à la première gorgée une déception, rien dans cette bière ne retient l’attention. Vide de goût, un peu de retour dans le palais mais sans plus
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jtclockwork (5219) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle from a generous trader. Pours burnt orange/copper. Off white head. Nose and taste of fruit, cereal grain, residual sugar and malt. Light caramel. Light bodied.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bov (8268) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 5, 2013
from Erzbierschof - cloudy copper-red beer with a moderate foam left; aroma of plums and caramel; a decent malt backbone, mainly sweet, chewy palate, low bitterness and residual sweetness in an aftertaste of plums, apples and honey - nothing to dream about
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 TheBear11D (62) - Michigan, USA - MAY 26, 2013
The Kmita Kolsch pours a clear orange amber with a foamy cream white head that leaves decent lacing. The aroma is orange and spice. The flavor is citrus and spice. Overall this is a nice Kolsch beer. I hope to have more in the future.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Hansen (5468) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2013
Not a typical Kölsch, too hoppy. Amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Malty aroma, light diacetyl and light caramel. Flavor starts sweet, light bitter finish. Creamy texture.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 WabashMan (972) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Pours a cloudy dark amber with smallish off-white head. Nose is nice --- malty and sweet. Flavor parallels the nose, but with less force. Much of the flavor lingers in a medium length finish. Not the greatest beer, but very drinkable, flavorful if a touch thin, and worth sampling. Might make for a good session brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 AWISLguy (689) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle from Downer Wine & Spirits. Pours a coppery orange with a foamy white head. Aroma has caramel malts, earth and fruits. Taste is of old fruits, sweet caramel and resin with some spice. Medium bodied and slightly syrupy. Meh. Tangy and lightly caramelly. Not my favorit style.
