This one grew on me to a degree. At first I thought the palate was missing depth, but after a few more sips I realized it filled in the depth reasonably well. This isn’t a great beer, but it is good. Aroma is dank. Color is a golden copper. It tastes of juicy tropical and citrus fruit, with a nice orange and citrus rind hops bitterness and a decent malt sweetness in the backbone. Not bad, really.

Cervesa molt cítrica en gust i aroma, és amarga perň sense arribar a ser molest. Cerveza muy cítrica en sabor y aroma, es amarga pero sin llegar a ser molesto.

Bottle. Pours nearly brown with murky appearance. Mild citrus aroma over light carbonation. Not much better than the mass produced ipa's. Good flavor but zero complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I decided to open this at the same time with 2 other single hopped dark horse IPA’s. Not much aroma from any of them. They all look pretty close to the same. Dark orange with off white head. this one had a more thicker palate of the three.

Deep gold with foamy white head. Spicy citrus hops on the nose. Taste- prominent resinous grassy hops and biscuit caramel malt. Above avg IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours a mostly clear, reddish orange with some creamy, clump white head. Nose has quite a bit of tropical fruit, ripe mango, a little guava, some orange, some candy too. Flavor is mostly guava, some tropical fruit, blood orange, mild soap, some solid malt sweetness rounds things out. Smooth, balanced finish.

A very nice IPA. The single hop are a bit one dimensional but this is still good. Nice English style aroma. The hops give it a citrus, fruity taste. Nicely balanced, dry and crisp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy copper with a small white foam head. Aroma is citrus and pine hops. Flavor is similar, somewhat sweet, with low to moderate hops. Not bad.

Pours a cloudy dark copper with a white head and good lacing. Aroma of orange, sweet malt and a bit of pine. Taste is the same with orange, honey sweetness, some pine and a bit of spiciness. A moderate amount of piney bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Decent flavor but not very complex.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2014 In short it looks great, the foam laced my glass which is always a good sign. The aroma had a floral and pine character with a sweet malted grain scent. In the flavor it was on the high end of bitterness with a mild booze like taste. There was a defined malt taste with a subtle sweetness. The finish was pleasant but had a lingering bitterness. Overall a good brew, the kind I like to casually drink out of the fridge.

The Ollopa pours a mostly cloudy caramel color with a thick beige head that lasts a good long while. The aroma is floral and caramel. The flavor is floral and caramel as well. Overall this is a decent beer.
