Number one in a series of five stouts produced for the fall and winter seasons. This beer is full bodied with hints of chocolate, roasted barley, coffee flavors and a nice creamy head.

Bottle from Oxford beer store. Joe gave me one. Sharp sweet nose and full thick pour. Medium thick mouthfeel and smooth body. One strange sweet malty chocolatey hint in there but still decent. Not the best but a decent oatmeal stout. Hides the 7% easily. ---Rated via my mouth

Barwa ciemnobrązowa, z rubinowymi refleksami; piana ciemnobeżowa, niezbyt obfita. W aromacie owoce w czekoladzie, kawa. W smaku przyjemnie gładkie, czuć ten owies, jest paloność, gorzka czekolada, goryczka średnio wysoka. Dobre piwo.

"pol-slodki". fajne piwo

Pours black color, slightly haze, with light brown foamy stable head. Visually low carbonation. Aroma: intense dark malts aroma, with notes of espresso coffee, cocoa nibs, slightly roasted and smoked, supported with hop aroma, which takes on dark fruits. Flavor: as Aroma reveals, prevails dark malt flavors, which takes on roasted, espresso coffee, cocoa nibs and hint of smoked in finish. Malt flavor is supported with hop flavors, which takes on dark fruits. Finish is sticky dry and slightly bitter. Bitterness lingers long in aftertaste. Body is full, texture is creamy smooth, carbonation is low. Another great dark beer brewed in this absorbing Brewery...

Pretty good brew, not sure where the head is but OK. Coffee and chocolate, a bit simple, but that doesn’t mean bad.
