Oct 10, 2006 A pitch black beer with a slight brown shine underneath a dying brown head. The aroma is very lightly roasted. The flavor is sweet and very roasted malty combined with notes of oatmeal, and lighter notes of citrus, but also with a light acidity. Not that powerful a flavor - but good.

Nov 18, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small chocolate brown head. Roasted and smooth chocolate aroma. Flavour is smooth chocolate with a mild vanilla note giving a nice favour and smoothness. Ends with a slight warming feel and quite bitter from the hops but also heavy roasted malt it seems. Nice.
