It's big and full bodied with lots of roasted malts and balanced with heavy hops to put this imperial in a league of its own.
Previously known as Dark Horse Imperial Stout.

So Im looking for a glass, and I find my snifter from @NewGloryBrewing and I know its the one for me tonight. Its just the right size for something as hot as a 12% and fits in my hand like its meant to be there. I peel the cap from the neck and open a formidable aroma. The boozy bite in the air is easily driven to a second impression as the heady scent of burnt sugar and overripe plums is potent. - I tip the bottle and the thick, oily brew cascades into the glass in a stream of dark mahogany. The head is rich cocoa in hue, foaming at the surface with an aggressive pour, and receding in moments. The surface of the beer is rimmed at the inside of the glass with the deep chocolaty froth; islands of delicate foam drifting atop. Beautiful. - I sip, bringing just a taste to my lips at the edge of the glass and pulling slowly, deeply at the thick brew. The flavor causes an immediate reaction...eyes close, deep intake of breath, the draw of the liquid through my mouth, over my gums; a slow swallow, completing the experience. An exhale brings the true essence of the aroma; dark malts evoke flavors of spent leather, dark fruits and molasses. A glimmer of vanilla in the finish eases the flavors, brings them together and they melt in my mouth. There is nothing about the experience from this bottle that makes this difficult to drink despite the ABV. Its delectable, aromatic and sexy as hell. If there was a Dark Horse that Id pick up regularly, this would most definitely be top of the damn list. Fabulous.

Darkest brown, oily tan ringed head. Nose is rich chocco slightly smoky. Initial taste is soft roast, biting and meaty. Carbonation is smooth and rich, mouthfeel is met overbearing Neat reduced bbq sweetness on the finish and lingers slides down a more spicy sweetness. Very rich. Very delicious.

W aromacie uderzenie gorzkiej czekolady, pralin i lekkiej jagody, naprawdę zacnie! W smaku podobnie, choć do czekolady dołącza spora goryczka i cudowny orzechowy posmak na finiszu. Piwo pełne, lepkie, typowy sipper. Świetne!

Dobre, choć zbyt alkoholowe w smaku. Aromat intensywny, wygląd spoko. Oglnie dobry RiS, ale nie rewelacyjny...
