Dogfish120 (140), Jackson, Michigan, USA Jul 18, 2007 Pint at brewpub. Decent creamy head, yeasty and golden body. Nose was of sour but hefe style aroma very bready like, also spices were in the notes. Mouth feel was medium to heavy consisting of a dry nose with a very refreshing and sour quality. Great beer while it lasted.
muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jan 1, 2007 Draught pint at the brewpub, December 22nd 2006. Lasting moderate white creamy head tops the bright, yeasty and unfiltered golden body....lemony, sour wheaty-doughy aroma, lots of bready yeast, earthy-chalky notes, faint spicing....more sour and hefe-like on the tongue than usual for this lighter American style, mineralic and tart throughout, fairly yeasty and thick but still reasonably dry and refreshing towards the end with just a faint touch of berry estery character. Another solid entry from this awesome pub.
