Draft. Poured a hazy dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet fruit flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where just met.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a cloudy amber red with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of sweet fruit with earthy grains and a bit of pine hoppiness. Flavor is similar with some sweet fruit up front that are over taken by pine hops and an underlying earthy grain backbone throughout.

MiBG Summer Fest 2011. another fruit rendition by dark horse. aroma and flavor of bitter, piney hops, light grass, and sweet prickly pear. the fruit holds up very well alongside the strong ipa characteristics.
