COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light ale made with 100% real raspberries in every batch. The rasberries give this beer a fruity aroma while keeping the beer balanced in taste. The raspberry flavor is not "oversweet" or "overpowering". We believe our beers should be "beer 1st,fruit 2nd".

Well hmmm, kind of a wierd beer. It pours and resembles a barley wine with a thick haze. Smells like watermelon, slight tart, and maybe 1 gram of actual hops. Average smell at best. The taste is like fizzy crystal lite, it lacks character and distinction. The mouthfeel isnt bad at all, rather thick and creamy and pleasing. All in all, if you are a Dark Horse fan, try it, but a quality fruit beer this isnt, but I think New Glarus Raspberry tary spoils me. Methinks I shall try another one and pair it with a cham torte dessert.

Bottle: Light red/amber with a white head. Aroma, raspberries, not much else that I noticed. Flavor, light malts, some bready notes, and the raspberries. It wasn’t bad, but it’s not one of their better beers.

Pour is murky brownish amber with a thin almost nonesitant off white ehad...smell is lightly fruity with raspberry and grainy...taste is grainy and artificially sweet...definately fruity :/

Light raspberry aroma. Murkly light brown in color with a thin white head. The palate is medium for a fruit beer. Thin raspberry flavor with a weak malt and hop profile. Not such a great brew from a good brewer.

12 oz bottle. Wonder how they got his name, probably because it smells, and taste like rasberrys. Kind of thin mouthfeel, was okay, but really wouldn’t want to drink more than one. Would have been nice with a cheesecake.

12 Oz Bottle. Aroma of rotting socks and old fermented fruit parts. Pours a mucky ruddy-tinged brown. No head. Flavor is a skunky, rotting fruit flavor, with that dreadful off-spritz and a blast of souring malt. No hop presence. No decent fruit character and next to no carbonation. Nothing carries this beer. The flavor is unpleasent. Palate is weak and a tinge cloying. Overall, a real bummer.

12oz bottle from sliffy! - thanks Dan! - Pours hazy amber without a head. Aromas of raspberry, bread, some caramel. Flavor is light raspberry, yeast, bread, and some grains. Subtle raspberry flavor makes this an alright fruit beer in my opinon. Light and crisp on the palate. Not much body though.

Poured very cloudy without any head really at all. It was more like large bubbles even with a vigorous pour. Very little carbonation. Aroma was a little malty, bready, and very little raspberry. Taste was a little caramel malty and not much else except for a mild raspberry. Kind of bland taste for a fruit beer. Kind of a thin watery body feel in the mouth.

Very light beer with a nice raspberry flavor. Not too sweet, a little tart. A nice little beer.
