TheBeerOrg (1367), Kentucky, USA Apr 8, 2008 Pours dark golden with a slight reddish hue. Aroma of raspberry, pear, wheat, strawberry and citrus. Taste is fruity, notes of raspberry, citrus, strawberry. Medium bodied, lightly sticky with lush, lively carbonation. Easy drinking, enjoyable fruit beer.
msante79 (157), Illinois, USA Jul 5, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours pinkish orange with white head that quikly disapates. Aroma is sweet fruits, citrus and some malt. Flavor does not bring raspbeeries to mind. Flavor is some light fruits, citurs and some malts. This beer was disapointing as I was hoping for a crisp and tart ale. brewandbbq (186), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jun 23, 2008 Pours hazy gold with an orange hue. A quarter-inch head of white dissapated quickly leaving a few whisps on the surface.
Aromatics lead off with some light raspberries and perhaps some citrus underneath.
A hint of honey follows through as well as a wince of cherry.
Light to medium bodied. Crispish with a slight syrup note. Carbonation is on the light side of medium.
Raspberries, tangerine, and light malt start the pallet. A residual honey note follows through.
Alcohol and hopping is minimal, and the beer is clean and fruity.
Finishes with some lingering fruit essence and a hint of tart lemon.
Nothing bad about this one, just nothing outstanding in any aspect. The fruit is not abundant or fresh, and the base beer is average Rciesla (674), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 18, 2008 Solid artwork. Bottle well the color is about right but thats about all. Some fruit in the nose mostly malt, no real funkiness or raspberries in the flavor. A bit thin. eh. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 13, 2008 This brew pours a redd-orange colour with a medium sized head. A little light on the raspberries and a somewhat softly malted mouthfeel. Raspberry aromas on the nose but finishes a little watery. Comparable to Spanish Peaks Raspberry. FunkyBrewster (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 25, 2008 Aroma had a lot to be desired. I had a pint on tap and maybe it was a little old but I could barley get any raspberry in the aroma, or even anything else. (malt, hops) Decent light ruby red color and small white head. Despite the commercial description above, I found it to be overwhelmingly fruit first, beer second. Not that it was unpleasant, just that the beer presence was lacking. Somewhat refreshing, but not a beer a would want several pints of at any given time.
