COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light ale made with 100% real raspberries in every batch. The rasberries give this beer a fruity aroma while keeping the beer balanced in taste. The raspberry flavor is not "oversweet" or "overpowering". We believe our beers should be "beer 1st,fruit 2nd".

bottle, aroma is light malt toast and pine with a touch of berry. Taste is similar, a light pale with a touch of berry, not memorable

12oz bottle - pours a hazy gold with pink hue . Mild raspberry aroma . I like that it’s not too much fruit . Very sessionable .

I really enjoyed this beer, but it almost got overwhelming the more I drank of it. Can definitely taste the raspberry in it, and it’s good for those who don’t drink a lot of beer, like myself. Like I said, very flavorful and sweet at first, not hoppy, and very smooth.

From bottle. Pours a hazy honey color with a small white head. Aroma of raspberry and fruits. Taste is mildly sweet, fruits, raspberries, some caramel. Medium mouthfeel.

While I respect the notion of letting the raspberry tones take a back seat to the ale, they seem downplayed to the point of being watered down. I’m okay with an ingredient being subtle but not when that ingredient is raspberry in a beer called Raspberry Ale. Aside from that, the dominant properties of the ale itself just doesn’t deliver a lot of flavor or aroma. It’s not a bad ale, but it’s an underwhelming brew that doesn’t live up to the Dark Horse standard.

Poured from 12 fl oz bottle. Cloudy golden yellow-orange with dissipating off-white head. Aroma has some raspberry and yeast. Taste same with some biscuity malt. Light-medium body. Finishes a little bit dry. Raspberry flavour is fairly muted, balance is okay. Middle of the road as far as raspberry ales go in my opinion.

On tap at The Chicago Beer Festival 2014. Hazy golden amber with a moderate sized white head. Aroma and flavor of candi sugar, raspberry syrup, herbal tea, and grass.

bottle. Amber with small head. Wheat beer with some raspberry flavor added. Pleasant and utterly forgettable.

Golden brew. Smell is herbs and finnish raspberry licorice. Flavor has candied raspberries, herbs, savory flavor. Seriously there is a salty meat flavor that destroys this brew.
