UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Tap: Opaque brown-copper body, lighter amber near top and bottom. Creamy eggshell head, a lace ring or two is left behind. Aroma is juicy, spicy orange flesh and orange peel. Slightly sugary, Pez candy like, a bit of wheat, too? Taste is wheaty, tastes like a fruited wheat beer... Need to confirm. Hint of orange zest, not as strong as I’d like it. Kind if normal orange, not much "blood" orange. Very mild tartness mid palate that fades to a dry, wheat finish. Light toasty malt, too. Thin, crisp mouth feel. Decent at first, but the orange vibrancy grows with warmth & beer gets better. Pretty nice fruited ale by the end of the glass.

Bottle. When I popped it there was this refreshing breeze of orange on the nose. Looks like cloudy orangish light brown something. Visually foaming. Taste is big malty dull perhaps orange on the buds. Seems like more than 5%. Reminds me in some ways to the malty beers of the UK.

A nice orange pale ale. Pours a cloudy orange with a little bit of white head. Smells of orange, grapefruit and thyme. Taste is crisp and bright, very blood orange with some herbs in the finish. Had in the bottle.

Cloudy orange brown. Smells like orange peel and lots of caramel, taste has no bitterness and lots of caramel, medium body, bread. Sweet but balanced by the orange, not bad, drinkable interesting idea.

Got this at the brewery. It is light and fruity. Has a bit of a malty/dry taste after a few sips. Pretty tasty on a hot summer day.

This pours out muddy looking from a bottle with a label that didn’t do much for me. The taste is mostly light and smooth, with a dash of curacao in the flavor. The hops are turned down low, maybe a little too low. I was hoping for a little more from Dark Horse.

Aroma is fresh orange and a background of other citrus and fruit. The flavor is orange, bready/biscuit malts, fruit and a mix of tart and bittersweet in the finish.
