355ml bottle (ALEhouse, Riga)
Rich, almost bacony roasty aroma. Super full, but maybe a bit sticky, if an aroma can be sticky. Loely full taste. Great roast, vey wel balanced. Burnt bacon in the finish too, but such rich roast it’s fantastic. Keeps the 7.5 % well hidden. It’s clearly not a weak beer, but it doesn’t say boozy. I would have bottle after bottle of this beer until I was dragged to the mental asylum. Underrate? It’s like like like, but there’s no religious experience "wow".
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ContemplateBeer (1140) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Definite chocolate/ coffee aroma, but also licorice and molasses as well; there’s a charred (not smoked) character here that reminds me of Bourbon. Appearance is dense black with sticky, bubbly mocha head. Flavor really belts away at you with roasty depth, so much so that you wish the beer gave you some sort of sweet respite, but alas, this libation is nigh arid. Palate is medium, oily, and soft. Outstanding in all regards; a beer crafted without ambiguity.

12oz bottle shared with friends. This one was quite a treat. Nice aroma of earthy hops mixed with chocolate malts and the slightest bit of coffee grind. Really easy to drink and extremely tasty.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Abio (1334) - Waasland, BELGIUM - FEB 2, 2013
Black in the glass, a nice holding and good sticky head. Lots of chocolate, malts and hops. The coffee gets trough the roasted malts also decent and a nice bitterness. Decent mixture, just misses a small boost for me, just a bit to "plain".

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sikash (171) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a nice dark color with a tan head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is nice and toasted with roastated malt and a good amount of chocolate. Flavor is medium body with a good chocolate bitterness to it and a nice bittersweet flavor on the end which lasts a medium while. Carbonation is average. Overall this is an awesome beer.
