Pours dark, with a small tan head. Aroma is not overpowering. Taste is smoky, a lot of flavor for a porter. It leans more to the smoky than the creamy, thicker than it appears. A very good porter.

355 ml bottle from Astral Beers. Pitch black, impossible to see through, with a small, creamy and peristent light brown head. Crazy nose, so powerful and in your face that you don’t even need to keep the glass close: tons of roasted malts notes, 70%+ dark chocolate, vanilla beans, some subtle licorice presence as well. Taste follow suite with no surprises: slick and velvety mouthfeel that doesn’t feel cloying at all, moderate but clean and lingering toasted and earthy bitterness, plenty of both chocolate and coffee taste. Excellent drinkability considering the ABV. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, oily texture. Superb!

Bottle. Black with a thin beige head. Aromas are coffee and dark chocolate with oily notes. Peppery with molasses and dark toffee and light meatiness. Cola with earthy soy. Flavours are sweet molasses with earthy peat and pepper. Coffee with dark chocolate. Good.
