3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 b3shine (2439) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Draft to taster at Dark Horse. Looks solid; a hazy amber with thin off-white head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells of herbs and flowers. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad, but a little herbal for my preference.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Bov (8268) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 23, 2013
draught@Erzbierschof - quite clear reddish-brown beer with a persistent beige foam; gently chewy malty aroma with notes of caramel and red fruits, toasted; rounded palate and full-bodied; lively and gently spicy; a moderate bitterness, a creamy palate and a long malty, hoppy, spicy and fruity finish - very good beer, multi-dimensional and pretty impressive

Draft. Dark amber-brown. A bitter, hoppy red ale, with a unique spiciness. I enjoyed it.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 polomagnifico (1111) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - APR 4, 2013
On Tap. Aroma has notes of sweet dried fruits, spices, nice citrus hops, caramel malts and Barely Wine flavors in the background. Nice. Dark amber hue with a small off-white head that fully diminished and left no lace. Flavor is very sweet and medium bitter. Palate is full bodied and oily soft. Overall I was very surprised by this one. Very decent brew.

Draft at Cincy Beerfest. Pours a dark amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is caramel, floral hops, and herbal notes. The flavor is caramel malts, lightly toasted bread, floral and herbal hops with light hints of fruit. Mild bitterness to the finish.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 PotjeBier (1016) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 20, 2012
On tap @ Beer Temple. Brownish red colored. Firm, off white head, good lacing. Aroma’s: caramel, malty, red fruit, bit roast. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted, medium bitter. Body is medium. Finishes somewhat dry, roasted and quite bitter. Didn’t get much of the spices, but (or should I say: and so) I quite liked this.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bwa5879 (317) - Portage, Michigan, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Brown copper hazy pour with a quickly disappearing white head. Smells like a little malty and caramel, an essence of cotton candy strangely enough. Fairly low carbonation. Subtle flavors of maltiness and caramel, slightly bitter and complex with all the spice additions. Perhaps added more for aroma? Slightly bitter and sweet aftertaste. Not too crazy of an herb/spice beer, mild and good.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beerman6686 (3186) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 31, 2012
This poured a darker amber color with a beigge head. ARoam was somewhat odd spices, some dark fruit, and caramel malt. Flavor was much the same, malty and spicey, but nothing really stands out. Probably my least favorite Dark Horse i’ve had which for them is still not bad at all.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ICEatALAMO (586) - Troy, Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Draft. Pours a dark red. Smell has some sweetness in the nose with some spice. Taste is for sure full of herbs and spice. Interesting, but a little off the mark for me.
