Sample at The Daily Growler during the Brewery Ommegang Tap Invasion on 11/21/2013: The beer pours a hazy pale orange color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and bready malt. Light to medium body with flavors of toasted malt, apricot and spices. The finish is fruity with a spiced apricot aftertaste. Decent overall.

Enjoyed on tap at Emporium Arcade Bar in Chicago, IL. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a thin white rim. Aroma is like an apricot doughnut, very pronounced and delicious. Taste is also very doughnut like, light sour finish, goes down pretty smooth. Overall, great brew!

Not much nose but the taste is great. Light yeast sugar with bite and lemon and coriander.

Draft at the Michigan Brewers Guild Fall Fest, interesting beer, lots of fruit and chamomile on the nose and palate. Very refreshing, ended up going back for a few samples. I’d like to see more of this .

Draft. Poured hazy orange color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate apricot and herbal aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium fruit sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing brew that met my expectations.

On tap at GTMW, pours a light orange amber with a thin head, the aroma is of slight fruit and malt, the flavor has a decent amount of peach like flavor on the front end with a finish of malt and caramel, really nothing stands out but isn’t bad.

8/11/12. GTMW. Light orange pour with a nice khaki head. Light floral and hoppy aroma with grapefruit and citrus, along with bits of peach/apricot. More of the hoppiness and floral aspects in the flavor with even more of the apricot evident. Not bad, but apricot is rarely my thing.

GTMW. Amber pour. Aroma is a mix of light piney grapefruit and a touch of apricot/peach. Flavor is initially a soft spicy apricot and finishes clean, bitter, and lightly dry. Fruit paired well with the base beer.

Draft at Dark Horse taproom 7/21/12. Poured a cloudy amber. Large creamy off white head. Strong lacing. Mild grapefruit aroma. Ton of citrus flavor, with a good combination of bitter & sweet. Plenty of citrusy bitter mouthfeel. Really enjoyed this. So much so that instead of switching to one of my regulars I had two pints of this. Hopefully the reception on this one is good so that it ends up being more then a one timer.
