Pours an orange color with a bubbly off white head. Notes of tea leaves, caramel, pine, and oranges. Mouthfeel feels a little odd.

For the name and artwork alone, I had to give this bonus points without even cracking the bottle. 12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. The arom is floral with bright, sugary apricot cland mild citrus with herbs, bread, and a mineral water. It’s a murky amber beer with thick foamy, dough like, white head with a great, meringue like retention and am abundant snowdrift lace. The taste is a medium bitter front with a medium high sweet finish that’s almost balanced with a light sour hint. The oily texture has a foamy carbination and a medium body. There’s a bread crust mouthfeel with notes of floral and a mild caramel and fruit quality. The finish is zippy with a strong sweet apricot followed by a bitter, fresh floral cleansing, and a slightly soapy and astringent quality. There’s also a lightly cloying and mildly medicinal touch to the floral herb. The aftertaste is tart apricot, floral, dough and caramel and has a mild lingering quality.

Bottle: Pours cloudy amber with a thick beige head. Apricot, caramel aroma. Taste is lightly sweet, floral, caramel malt, apricot, chamomile tea. Increasingly floral and spicy as it warms..... Pretty good, but starts to get a little too heavily tea-laden after a while.

Amber color with a frothy off white head. I got a bit much of the dregs in the glass. Floral and fruity nose. Some caramel and honey sweetness with apricots, peach, and a spiciness that I’ll say is the chamomile. Finish is apricot jam with a bit of a burn. Interesting.

A hazed golden ale with thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light floral hops, light camomile, light citrus pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light chamomile, mandarine pulp, grassy floral hops, pleasant. On tap at Ginger Man NYC.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small off-white head that settles into a ring. Notes of caramel malts, apricot, florals, bubblegum, light mint and chamomile, earth, and wood. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a muddled mouthfeel. Strange beer.
