Pours a ruddy copper color, light tan head with a small amount of lace. Aroma is light on the apricot, some floral, by not specifically chamomile, sweet bread. Taste is still sweet bread, like a Hawaiian roll, chamomile is very present in the taste, not getting any apricot, pleasant bitterness on the tail end. Good brew.

Bottle. Chamomile, apricot, and toffee malt aroma. Hazy amber with large light tan head. Sweet chamomile, light apricot, toffee malt, and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Nice body. A very pleasant beer - strong chamomile.

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big apricot, peach, slight spice notes into some floral, grassy notes, touch of sweet fruits with a hint of grain. Taste was a mix of bread, biscuit, some slight peach, lots of apricot juice into some slight spice, floral, herbal notes, finishing sweet.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark Amber color with a brief off-white head that settles to a film. Was getting a plastic smell at first but after a few minutes the floral herb aroma came through with some of the apricot in the background. Medium body, the taste is a bit tart but not overwhelming. The label says it’s a pale ale but I’m not getting much hops and it seems a bit too dark to me. Overall it’s not bad.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have bigger floral notes, chamomile, apricot fruitiness, herbal, hints of caramel and spices, hints of citrus, interesting beer but I am still on the fence.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5965) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 14, 2015
Sampled on draft at Champs in Altoona this beer poured reddish-caramel color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was graham cracker, bread and faint fruity hops. The flavor was cinnamon, nutmeg, graham cracker and had a bitter and vaguely medicinal undertone. Very long finish. Medium body. Odd.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Short Pump. Hazy dark rust, thin foamy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of chamomile, citrus, rose, caramel, apricot. The taste is apricot, chamomile, dandelion, rose, pale malt. Medium bodied, low carbonation, nearly flat, very floral. Decent.

Draft at Shoeless Joe’s. Murky dark orange with no head out lace. Herbal hops and spice on the aroma. Tastes pretty much the same. Feels a touch flat, spicy tingle, okay overall feel. Not bad, but not great. It falls a bit flat for me across the board.
