3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pros: Aroma has some malt depth, showcasing notes of peat, maple, caramel and coffee. Nice looking beer, with ample foam. Mouth feel has a nice density. Well extracted malt notes, with lots of vibrancy.
Cons: Way too sweet, nearly ruining the overall feeling of the beer. Overbearing sweetness.

This is definitely not a beer I like. Iím not a proffessional at rating beer so I am not sure what I donít like. Probably the woodsy, smoked taste (??) To it. It was something I havenít tried so I tried it. Just didnít like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Dark brown with a small tan head. Plum, cedar and molasses aroma. Ripe fruit, smokey malt and licorice flavors lead to a warm alcohol finish. Slick texture with average carbonation. A little boozy, but still pretty smooth for something just under 10%.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. Light brown with one finger head. Very malty with a hint of peat. Booze well hidden. This style doesnít do much for me, but I think this is decent for the style.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at an ESBLS sampling. It poured a reddish/brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was malty with caramel and some apple. It had a medium body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste was sweet with some alcohol warmth in the finish. Very well done.

3.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ruby brown in color with a small head. This beer hides the high alcohol content easily as it goes down smoothly. There isnít much aroma that I can describe. The taste is difficult for as well. It is enjoyable however.
