Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with over ripe fruit being the most dominant note. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 7, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Pours a hazy, dark, orangey brown with an off-white head. Distinct and very intense licorice aroma. Quite full-bodied with an intense and very solid malt base of roated malts as well as accents of nuts and again licorice. There’s a slight, perfumy edge and a weak, burned touch. The mouthfeel is a little tired. 041007 yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 21, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown/amber with little head. Bourbon and malty roasted aroma. Fullbodied.
