An extremely hoppy ale, that really does smell like weed.

Gorgeous color for an IPA. Absolutely love the name! Deliciously dank & fits its name. Will definitely buy more!

Bottle @ Camping. Thanks, Keith. First off, this beer is almost brown. Imperial IPA? Okay... Musty and dirty, kind of nutty as well. Lots of caramel. Some decent citrus and pine, I guess. The flavor is the epitome of bitter caramel water. Lots of goopy sweetness and bitter pine and citrus rind. This is nothing like how I want a hoppy beer. Scroll past.

Draft at the craft beer festival , beer at the pier in the south street seaport. Dark tan color with a nice hoppy bready taste of booze and hops. Very good

Bottle at home. Slightly hazy, reddish amber colour with an off-white creamy head that nicely laces the ale. Big tropical fruity and resinous hops that work nicely together with the big and sweet (toasted caramel) malty base. Lingering spicy and sweet fruity finish. Can’t get the weed, luckily. Big body, oily texture and low carbonation. Could easily qualify as an American-style barley wine.

At brew kettle. Pours dark Amber in a snifter. Quick soft caramel hop taste that slowly lingers. Delicate sugars ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Doesn’t smell like any weed I ever smoked. Oh, still a decent beer. Big sweet malty backbone. Bitter finish, pine, resin, but I wanted more. Good, but not great.

12oz bottle. Pours amber with with an off white head. Aroma is of hops, pine, and tropical fruit. Smells dank. Taste is of sweet, juicy hops. Lots of bubblegum and some tropical fruit. Lots of pine, and slightly bready. Tastes very dank as well. Very resiny. Lots of resiny hops and pine on the linger. Mouthfeel is very carbonated and sticky. Body is very sticky. Too easy to drink.

Good IPA. Pours a nice amber color. Aromas are similar to a safety meeting: very dank, resinous, piney. Quick review but good IPA.

Pours a dark orange, hazy. Light head, looks and smells like itd be syrupy. Smells of toast, sweet malt, mead, toasted coconut, alcohol, and some pine, weak nose, maybe some fruit/floral. Hoppy at times.Tastes toasty but kinda syrupy, light caramel, slick lots of up front pine, resin, alcohol hits off and on, sweetish cloying hoppy, hoppy sweet maybe?, finish. Strong bitter and linger. Fairly malty and strong, dry alcohol heat often, strong pine hop flavor. Not a great double ipa, I don’t know why most double ipa’s disappoint me most of the time.

12 oz bottle for 3 bucks. Pours hazy orange-copper with a small white head. Aroma is citrus hops, slightly piney and malty. Taste is piney hops, smooth lasting bitterness at the end. Creamy mouthfeel, somewhat chewy. Overall a very nice double IPA. Doesn’t smell like weed though.

Draft. Mild hop aroma with thin white head lingers. Some complexity but pretty limited. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
