S.L.A.S.M. is our most Aromatic IPA. This India Pale Ale is very reminiscent of the hop’s cousin in the Mulberry family. Lots of hop aroma with just the right amount of bitterness as we like to keep balance around here. Between the secret blend of the most DANK hops we can get our hands on and a "more than healthy" dose of double dry hopping, this beer can be announced to the nose from across the room that someone is definitely having a Safety Meeting.

Pours a rich orange copper color with very little head. The aroma is of straight pine and mild citrus hops. The flavor is very piney with floral tones and finishes dry with a citrus pine bitterness. However lacks depth in the flavor and finish

Bottle - Citrus and light dank grassy hops. Clearish gold with a decent beige head. Earthy and a touch of spice with some bitterness.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, toasted caramel, and lots of fruity esters. Flavour brings out a huge spicy and earthy hop quality, with a fair degree of dankness, and toasted dry caramel malt backing. Very expressive in the hop department, with a lovely spicy and earthy finish. Excellent.

Draft at Capital Ale House in Innsbrook The ale poured a clear dark amber color with an off white head and lacing. This is a very attractive beer. The aroma of floral hops and caramel mats. The medium body ale has average carbonation. There is nicely balanced bitterness which is realized more in the back of the mouth. Despite impressive hop flavor, bitterness is smooth and rounded, and the alcohol’s deftly hidden.

12 oz bottle. Bottled 06/07/16. (Siciliano’s) Grand Rapids, MI.
Hazy reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Malt, hops (not that fresh), moderate bitterness and some herbs in the aroma. The flavor is grassy, piney and resiny hops, moderate bitterness, dry malt and some herbal notes. Very drinkable.

Pint at Craft to go- Not much head so it seems that the citrusy smell dissipates quickly. Good color; a hazy caramel color. A great amount of hops hits you and sticks with you until the sweetness catches up. Pretty refreshing.

Little head heavy lacing. Smells musty hoppy. Dark caramel color. Sits well on tongue. Nice bitter aftertaste. Great IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark, cloudy, amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is strong of floral hops, caramel malts, and a surprising amount of alcohol. Flavor is kind of light at first with floral hops. Finishes bitter with some alcohol warming.

Draught. Slightly cloudy dark amber with very small frothy whitish head, orange peel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter grapefruit taste, thin body, long bitter citrusy finish. Bitter and dank DIPA.

Pours a brownish amber color. Very little aroma, surprised by this fact, given that the beer is advertised as their most aromatic. Perhaps the tap vs bottle makes that difference? Mild smell of sour hops. Taste is much better. Nice bitter hops. Good mouth feel. Tasty. Tap.
