Bottle - Dark Horse--yep, it’s going to be a huge, malty, boozy mess that is super sharp and hides all the hops behind a sugary, bready, astringent wall of pain. I guess it kind of smells like weed, but is that really something to build a beer around? There’s orange marmalade in there too. So that’s good. Or something.

Fresh hoppy almost pot aroma with some sweet citrus and berry notes and some caramelized malts. Fluffy bone colored head and thick orange body. Very nice balance of hops and citrus with some minor sweet berry and a nice dry hop bitterness in the end. Crisp and refreshing on the palate.

355ml bottle [8.5% abv as per label]. Minimally cloudy, orangey amber colour with average, thick, fluffy, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweaty, resinous, hoppy aroma, some weed indeed, tobacco, sirupy tropical fruity notes almost condensed to liquorice, candied orange zest. Taste is resinous hoppy, grass, hay, marihuana, tobacco, condensed fruitiness, apricot and peach jam, orange zest. Nice and slightly dirty mixture of grassy and fruity hop notes; decent & discreet malty backbone supports the sound exposition of hop flavours.

Bottle. Hazy copper pour with tan head. Aroma is really strong with herbs and some sweet malt. Full taste with lots of power. Fades quite fast and leaves you with a taste of liquorice in the mouth. A powerful beer
