S.L.A.S.M. is our most Aromatic IPA. This India Pale Ale is very reminiscent of the hops cousin in the Mulberry family. Lots of hop aroma with just the right amount of bitterness as we like to keep balance around here. Between the secret blend of the most DANK hops we can get our hands on and a "more than healthy" dose of double dry hopping, this beer can be announced to the nose from across the room that someone is definitely having a Safety Meeting.

Draught @ SBWF12

Pours dark orange with a massive head. Aroma of herbal hops, grass, hints of weed. Taste is hoppy and herbal with hints of fruits and berries. Finish is sweet and malty with a lot of herbal spicy notes. Okay, a bit unbalanced.

Heavy nose that is very nice. Hops are really delicious in this beer that is a bit heavy but for the most part enjoyable to drink. Had from the brewery.

Tap at Pyramid Scheme. Bit hazy dark golden. Lots of tropical fruit, orange juice, caramel, soft pine cones, some flowers, toffee malts. Over medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Nice!

Bottle. Nose is dank but not as advertised, much more in the way of tropical fruit and pine, touch of dough, sugar. Pour is dark amber-brown, hazy and gradient, head jiggly tight tan with a little hint of legs. Taste sweet and rubbery-bitter with lots of dull caramel and some red berry, pine, bark, earth verging on scorch. Full body a little dull, still fresh, not heavy or showing alcohol, and giving just a hint of pumpernickel and toasted bread crusts in the slimy finish. Like it well enough, but not the innovation Id hoped for. [2016.08.12: 3.0]

Caramel, toffee, and pine resin aromas. Taste is very big caramel, pine resin, and grapefruit. There is also some fig flavors too in the finish and after taste. I like this, but its more of an English barleywine. Bottled on 5.12.16; maybe I need to try it fresher.

Too alcohol-y. What the fuck is with that name also. Come on with the "quirky" names
