Bottle. dark brown with a small head Chocolate dominates and the overall taste is dry. Well balanced and easy to drink, even if it is a bit unusual.

Bottle 330 ml, from Secret Sinterklaas, thanks! Into a snifter, ABV 7% Black in colour with almost two fingers of beige head, good retention, light lacing left on the glass and big foamy bubbles on the surface. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, light alcohol. Taste of bitter chocolate, a bit fruity too, burnt malts. Slighty sweet, turns to a nice bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium body, good carbonation. Really nice, even better after it warmed up a bit.

Color caoba oscuro, espuma beige. Aromas de café, frutos rojos y hierbas. En boca tiene densidad media-baja y da al principio un ligero dulzor pronto sobre pasado por un amargor seco, acafetado y con toques de vegetales. Rica.

Very average beer. DId they need this beer? They already have a better porter but this one has some nice milk chocolate notes and dark fruits. Average.

Black draft pour at local option. Great beer. Off white head with black body. Oatmeal and earth notes. Different porter but delicious.

Decent and a little odd. The aroma was roasted and a little chocolate. The color was a murky brown and a little unappealing. It looked like a Homebrew that needed to be cleaned up a bit. The palate was smooth but a little watery. Carbonation was fine. The flavors were good and enhanced the aromas of roasted malt and chocolate and maybe some toast. Good but looked unfinished.

@ Party Town / Florence KY Inviting aroma of chocolate malt. Opaque brown/black with a 1/2" bubbly head, bands pf lace. Sweet chocolate malt (or should I say, chocolate milk?) grows richer through the palate before turning bittersweet in the finish. That may seem a bit simple, but it is well conceived and balanced and is extremely drinkable. Highly recommended.

On tap at Dark Horse. The pour is a thinner dark brown, allowing hints of red to shine through. There is a light tan head that fades to a ring with no lace. The aroma is carmely malt with a little roastyness and notice else going on. The flavor is similar. Somewhat bland, but not overly simple. The roast and caramel come through and it's decent. The mouth feel is thin, but the flavors do linger. There are many better porters out there, but this is decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours a dark brown/black with a thin khaki head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, molasses, and dark fruits. Taste similar to aroma, as described. Sweet and decent.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, hints of dark coffee, espresso, hints of earth, slight caramel as well in there. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate, roast, coffee, hints of earth, and caramel, nice cocoa powder as well, slight nuts, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter.
