Bottle. Poured a dark brown with minimal brownish head. Aroma was burnt malt with perhaps a touch of chocolate. Flavor included a little bit of hops and was just slightly bitter. Pretty good overall.

Clear dark brown to purple beer, big irregular fizzy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very intense, dried fruits, some coffee, prunes, liquorish, overripe banana, calvados, apple skin. MF: lots of carbon, medium to full body. Taste: some coffee first, bit sourish, very spicy, liquorish, mocha, little sweet. Aftertaste: bitter hops, banana peel, coffee, some dark chocolate, more coffee, tobacco, quite some vanilla, caramel, soft sweetness, ripe banana. Very complex, lovely beer!

Pours black with beige fluffy big head. Aroma is light cream, fruits, pie, dried apple, nuts, some metal. Taste is vanilla, cream, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, some nuts. Light roast in after taste. A bit too high carbonisation. Easy porter.

Bottle from Saveur. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, liquorice and a hint of iron. Taste is on the sweeter side with vanilla, chocolate, liquorice nuts and leather. Slightly roasted finish. Gentle carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Overall a nice porter.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black with a smooth lasting foamy to bubbly beige head. Aroma of nuts, liquorice, dark fruits, caramel, oats. Taste is of milk chocolate, bitter roasted notes, raisins, figs, nuts, molasses, hint of liquorice. Thin oily mouthfeel, slightly foamy, soft to medium carbonation.

Bottle fro Beermoth, Manchester. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Raisin, licorice and chocolate aroma. Flavours of smoke, dark berries, chocolate and toffee. Dry finish.

0.33 bottle. Black color with a small, off-white head of poor retention. Aroma of licorice, dark fruits, some caramel. Taste of coffee, dark malts, roast, and delicate fruits. A full body, a creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long, features some mango and an interesting touch of vanilla. Overall, quite a nice beer.

Bottle from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of chocolate cake, brown sugar and cocoa powder. Flavour of sweet malt, milk chocolate and vanilla ice-cream. Very sweet but not cloying. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Would be incredible on cask.

Black pour with a ruby/orange his and thin off white head with very light lacing .... Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts and dark fruit notes .... Taste is of dark chocolate, roasted malts, very light licorice, dark fruits and some sweet molasses/caramel malts ... Finish is dry with lingering roasted and caramel malts .... Has a very slight bitter bite at the very end ... Body is thin.... Sessionable tasty Porter

Pours near black and is opaque in the glass. Most of the weak head is soon gone but there’s some lacing nonetheless.
Aroma: fruity with hints of booze.
Flavor:dark fruit; dark bread; hints of licorice; light alcohol.
Feel:medium body with rather light carbonation. Smooth.
