Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Black color. Some aroma of glue, roasted malt, paint thinner, hard alpine cheese (Toma). Good body strength, the mouthfeel is both smooth and round; strong dark chocolate flavor, but also with a good share of roasted malts (too much for me and for a Porter); the final is salty, with some liquorice.
Good for the lovers of very dark beers, but not special or thrilling.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma hass notes of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, and flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, over ripe fruits, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.

draught@Erzbierschof - dark black colour with a persistent dark beige foam; beautiful lace; roasted aroma of mocha and molasses; decently hoppy; slightly buttery; very creamy mouthfeel, a good malt backbone; decently bitter and with a grassy hoppy finish with more roasted coffeish notes - elegant , subtle and characterful

On tap at Shakespeares. Dark brown pour with a thin head. Nose is chocolatey dark fruit with a faint hop profile. Taste is lots of chocolate with smoke and a bit of ash. Nice crisp finish. Not bad. Good name.

Craft Beer. Opaque black beer, tidy tan-cream head. Mildly crisp palate, slightly dry. Mild dark malt that is sweetish. There is the requisite coffee and dark chocolate but it’s not heavy man! Very nice red berry fruits bringing up the rear. Strawberry, cherry, trace of raspberry. Crisp minerally fresh finish. A bit of a cracker!
