Bottle courtesy of tetrik -- thanks! This is my first of the series, and if the others are this good I’m in for a real treat as I work my way through them.

Pours a ridiculous inky black with a gorgeous deep brown head. Lovely roasty nose, splendid gently sweet (Thai iced coffee) flavor, chocolate , plenty of roast in the finish, just a tiny bit smoky, and enough hops to make their mark melting with the coffee close. Ah, this is a fine, fine stout. Bravo!

Pours an incredibly dark brown to black with healthy enough, dense enough, small bubbled tan head. The nose is full of chocolate and roast over a creamy smoothness. Big burly malt. Bittersweet chocolate. Full creamy softly carbonated body, thick with stuff! Lovely. The flavors are in line with the nose. Thick sweet palpable chocolatey malt. Some floral hops, mostly sweet creamy acidic chocolate with some fruit coffee roast sort of flavors towards the end. Long lingering roast and acidity. This is a really delightful beer, I’ve forgotten how well crafted it is.

Pours a nice deep black with a thin dark tan head. The aroma is mostly of dark, roasted malts with some hints of cream/oatmeal. The flavor hits first with a big, dark roasty character, which then fades away into a simple but very pleasant coffee/dark chocolate finish. Very nice creamy mouthfeel. Very nice stout overall.

Black viscous pour with brown head and spotty lacing. Malty aroma. Big roasted malt flavor quickly yielding to a nice chocolate & coffee flavor. Well Balanced and easy to drink

12 oz. bottle from Dark Horse. Pours darkest black; no light is getting through this baby. Carmel head dissipates quickly, releasing a rich malty bouquet of chocolate and espresso. Smooth and creamy, leaving milk sugar on the tongue. Mmmmmm.
