Poured a very dark brown with only a slight ring of froth. Smell is heavy roasted molasses and some roasted coffee. Taste is pretty much the same. The mouthfeel is somewhat smoky from the roastiness. The mouthfeel is smooth and a little lighter than medium on the mouthfeel. A good beer, but one would be enough. The taste does get a little much after one.

Bottle as pictured poured opaque black with the thinnest creamy brown head I’ve ever seen on any stout. A faint aroma of dry cocoa starts to rise as the brew warms. I drank this creamy concoction right at room temperature. I am a big fan of sweet stouts and this one did NOT disappoint. Mouthfeel was velvety smooth and flowed like Willie Wonka’s chocolate river all over my taste buds! Rich roasty flavors of cocoa and coffee w/heavy cream were savored with each sip. The finish is a lingering chocolate combined with traces of malt that go from dry to bitter for a spendid finale. Quite simply delicious. I want more.

Pours black with a halloween orange head. The aroma has lots of cream, some chocolate and smooth roasted malt. Medium / thick body with modest carbonation. The flavor starts with roasted malt, cream, chocolate and some char. The finish is grainy and sharper due to hop presence. There is a lingering milky lactic taste. Nice beer.

Very creamy and nice. But nothing to blow you away. chocolate, roasty and creamy. Almost reminiscent of a milkshake at times. Enjoyable.

Pours black with a thin brown head that fades quickly. Aroma is coffe with cream, cocoa nibs, and biscuity malt, all fairly smooth and rounded. Flavor is of weak coffee, cocoa, a little less malt then the aroma a bit sharper. Medium body, palate is a bit oily and a bit watery. Finishes a bit watery with aids drinkability but hinders the satisfaction of a nice velvety finish.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for this bottle - and here I thought eugene gifted me a beer I’d already rated - good thing I double checked! - anyway, this beer pours an extremely dark brown, nearly black, with a medium tan, short-lived head - lots of lactose and roasted malt in the aroma, with some notes of wet wood and plum - creamy mouthfeel, with a little less body than I’d like - the flavor is mostly dark coffee, anise and chocolate - the coffee flavor seems a little stale - finishes with a suprising amount of berry flavors and touches of black cherry and other dark fruit - a unique sweet stout.

Thank you, Beastiefan2k for this beer! Dark tan head, but only around the sides of the glass after the inital pour, and a very dark brown, nearly black, oily body. Very roasted malts and vanilla in the aroma - woody and very earthy... the alcohol is plenty-well-hidden, and I imagine that I could drink this pretty fast and easily. Pretty strong, though, for a sweet stout. Sweet finish, lots of lactose hanging around. The roastiness stands out the most, and its a bit unbalanced, but decent overall.

12 oz bottle. Poured thick and oily. Color was opaque black. Head consisted of only a scant brown ring. Aroma was of dark chocolate, cream, and leather. Full bodied with a velvety smooth mouth feel troubled only by the bitter burnt stick-like roastiness. There is plenty of bitter chocolate flavor and a bit of vanilla. Delicately sweet at the end with a hint of bourbon.
