Opaque brown-black with an ivory head cover, wide bands of lace. Taste is pure stout: bittersweet malt that adds a little black coffee as bittering in the late palate, and the bitters melting away in the finish. Much easier to drink than 8% should be, light and clean. An excellent sweet stout. Highly recommended.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a brown head. Taste chocolate, coffee. I thought this was so so ( don't like coffee). I would skip this down the road. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark as oil with 2 finger dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malts with bitter dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor as expected from the aroma, but with a little more burnt flavor, perhaps some smoke. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, full bodied. Very good - gets a few extra points for price ($7.29 / 4pk).
