Number Too - This beer is made with milk sugar (lactose) which gives this beer a nice creamy mouth feel which mingles with hints of chocolate and roasty flavors.

2/25/2007: Dark Horse Too Cream Stout pours an opaque, near black color without any sort of head or crown. The aroma is sweet and roasty with hints of smoke and alcohol. It reminds me a little bit of Scotch or something. The flavor is also quite roasty with some chocolate/cocoa and that tell-tale lactose sweet, yet sour quality. The flavor is a bit like chocolate milk made with skim milk. There is plenty of roasted malt/char (not burnt though) flavor as well. The body is medium-light to medium with an oily and slick mouthfeel. I preferred the <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/dark-horse-one-o Horse One Oatmeal Stout over this one. However, the Too Cream Stout is still quite tasty!

12 fl. oz. bottle. Rating #204 for this beer...

Pours and oily with absolutely no head. Roasted grain, chocolate malt, and chocolate milk aroma. Taste is smooth lots of roasted grain, chocolate malt and a nice bit of hops. Finishes clean with a little bit of chocolate and hops. Very nice.

Pours a dark black with a nice tan head. Smells of roasted malts waft from the glass. Has a dark roasted malt flavor. Does not have the typical cream mouthfeel Im accustomed to when drinking a cream stout. Overall is a solid beer.

Black pour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with taste of a well hidden chocolate. Some coffee notes.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2008 This is the highest rated of the new DH releases, but I rank it third. The aroma is just average, and theres not much too special about the appearance. The flavor is good, nice and smooth, but lacks the "creaminess" that Id expect from a stout called a "Cream" Stout. The taste just kind of felt average and maybe slightly bland (only when compared to other beers of its kind) Left Hands Milk Stout is a much better example of how to make a creamy stout. This one is good, lets not kid ourselves (Im being way to hard on it, because it really is tasty as hell) , but Id go with One or Tres myself.

At S/choc pre release tasting. Thin looking brown pour with tan head. Very pleasant roasted malt chocolate aroma. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side with good chocolate that tries to fade to coffee but goes a bit sour instead. Thin palate but carbonation is good. Solid just a hint on the thin side but a very nice offering.

Pours extremely dark with almost no head or carbonation. Malty almost sweet scent with hints of chocolate and kind of a roasted scent. Good malt flavor with a very smooth feel which lingers in a chocolate flavor.

Pours very dark with no head and no carbonation. The alcohol is well hidden which is good. The other flavors come out in the mouthfeel. This beer coats your palate and hints of smokiness come out in the aftertaste. Swirling this beer creates no lacing, this beer is straight blackness. This is my favorite beer so far.

Bottle at home - club tasting. Black - brown head. Licorice, chokolate, sweetness, soft body, light smoke, burned, peppermint, roasted. Very smooth.

This was black in color and poured practically no head at all and what did emerge quickly faded away. Scents of smoke, coffee, milk chocolate and sweet caramel. The palate was quite smooth fading to a dry/bitter hop-driven finish. It starts off big but fades as the finish doesnt quite deliver.
