About as good interpretation of the cream stout style as I have sampled ... equal with Bells Double Cream. Very little co2 go on and just a hint of a head. The roasted and coffee notes are big in the aroma. Nice smooth feel in the mouth. Beauty.

In short: nice creamy stout.
Pours black with rich creamy tan head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Roasty, coffee, chocolate, creamy aromas. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste follows the nose, moderate bitterness, smooth, silky, alcohol well integrated but noticed.

Got this from Shane. Poured out a pretty jet black with a dark brown head. It was a textbook stout pour. Big roasty nose that was pretty inviting. Flavor was pretty big for a 7.5 abv stout. Big roasted malts, creamy dark chocolate, light nutty bitterness that balances pretty well. It reminded me of a bigger beer without the booziness. I thought this was done quite well.

Bottle at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a deep mahogany with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, sweet caramel, light chocolate. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth earthy malt liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots going on here!

Bottle shared at BeerTemple with jmgreenuk and kermis. Black pour with no head. Aroma is really chocolaty, leather, light lactic notes, not infected but milky, malty. Taste is sweet, malty, light roasty notes, nice boozy notes. Palate is med-full bodied with strong, slightly fizzy carb. Ok.

0.33l bottle. You canít really call this anything else than jet black. Dark as the darkest chocolate and it has a really good looking medium sized slowly fading away deep espresso colored head. On the one itís quite roasted and coffee dark. Thereís as sweetness too here. Dry deep dark black inky with traces of dark cardboard and cold coffee. Iíll gladly admit that I like this aroma. Yeah, itís just as roasted in the taste as the aroma had me believe. Dry deep dark coffee intense with burned wood and hazelnuts. Lots and lots of flavor. It feels oily in the mouth and itís about average on the bubbles. Delicious to nip at even though itís about 30 degrees here. Itís leaving a really deep dark roasted aftertaste in the mouth this. I quite enjoyed this creation. 14.06.2014
