Lansdale Beer Fest 2011 - I had to try this cause Iíll never get to otherwise. Not all that creamy but light and somewhat refreshing. Good but not great. Thank goodness I didnít actually taste the baby formula. Def worth trying though.

Sample at EBF pour has a dirty golden color. Aroma has grains, wheat, and a light hit of formula that anyone who has kids will pick out. Mouth feel is medium and the coating is strange. Flavor has light hops, saison, and some yeast. Aroma is better than the flavor for me and I would have never tried this if not for the novelty of the whole thing.

Draft at Lansdale brewfest. Poured straw with nose of grainy pale malt, hops. Tasted cream alet, with pale malt, some smoothing sweetness, hops, and I got some lactose in this, but that may have just been psychosomatic.

MiBG Summer Fest 2011. golden ale with baby forumla...?!? had to try it. golden pour with big white head. aroma of grain, grassy hops, and a slight sweet malt bill. flavor is similar and quite earthy. do not detect formula whatsoever.

Lansdale Brew Fest 2011. Okay, how could you NOT try a beer brewed with infant formula at a beer fest. Okay, it wasnít all that "knock your socks off" awesome, but itís a cream ale. Very light in the mouth, easy drinking and a creamy mouthfeel. A great summertime barbecue ale...but honestly, the idea that there is baby formula in there is a little skeevy. It made me try it, but itís a bit uncomfortable liking a beer with baby forumula in it called "Uber Boober". Still, good!

Cool concept, amusing beer, sweet and grainy but entirely forgettable. A beer that is memorable mostly for the process and delivery, but memorable nonetheless.

Sampled from the tap at EBF. Poured a hazy amber gold with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had notes of creamy sweet grains, biscuit, slight caramel and a hint of cereal. Flavor was a bit bland with some sweet grains and bread, but not much else.

Pouring at the Saturday sessions of EBF. Pours, or should I say dribbles out of a breast pump modified to serve beer, a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium sized white head. Creamy and sweet, and certainly does have a bit of a powdered baby formula smell to it, along with a light hop note. Smooth and sweet, nice hops. Creamy and sweet, nice malty finish. Very cool concept, name, delivery and presentation, but just an ok beer.
