Another one from DrSilverworm or as I call him, the maaaaaaaaaaaaaan. This is a buttery beer...big butter touchdown Jesus, Hey-Zeus if you will. There are also raspberries, sour stuff, and some other stuff. It is pretty good.

Poured a light reddish color with aromas of light cheese funk, tart raspberries and some malt. Flavors were light sour and hay followed by some tart raspberries. A solid sour beer

Draft at FoBAB. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have tart raspberries, citrus acidity, funk, some oak with a lasting sour finish. One of the better Dark Horse sours yet.

Bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a clear berry gold color with a few bubbles around the edge. Aroma of vanilla, sweet malts, raspberries, funk, leather, yogurt, and cheesecake. The flavor is the same, but with more berries and more balanced sweetness. Medium-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a sweet, mildly tart mouthfeel. Good sweet and sour ale.

12.7oz bottle. Mostly hazy red orange color. Thin off-white head, light bubbly head, a couple bits of lace. Despite the minimal head, a solid looking color and appearance. Good raspeberry aroma, some cheese cake like aroma, maybe light butter ( a lot of discussion about that at our tasting ). Smooth, creamy carbonation, more dry finish. Bigger body.. Very smooth. Good creamy raspberry aroma, nice light woody taste. Moderate tart taste, good sweet. Amazingly, these Dark Horse 4Elf beers have been way tastier to me than the rates indicate. I was actually afraid to open them from the current rates, but this tastes awesome. Really enjoyed it.

Draft at 4 Elf Party 2013 - pours a transparent ruby red . Lots of barnyard funk with fresh raspberries. Fairly sour fresh raspberry flavor, not overwhelming. Very refreshing.

Draft to taster at FoBAB 2013. Copper red. Nose funk, sour, and light rasberry. Taste funk and sour. Thankfully raspberry calmed by the sour. Tart finish.

HonkeyBra (3525) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Sampled at FoBAB2013. Pours a rich hazed red color with a small offwhite head. Aroma of raspberry, mild lemon, lactic acid. Some yogurt and oak, mild funk and slight barnyard notes. Flavor is tart, with strong raspberry and funk notes up front. Heads to a fairly lactic sour note. Quite sour, actually. Lively carbonation, somewhat medium bodied. Finishes sour. Nice.
