Our stout is positively obese! Stuffed with the finest Australian dark malts to produce a thick, creamy stout with huge roast barley and malt flavours. A full rounded body that Stout lovers will absolutely love!

330 ml bottle - labeled "Stout" not "Superior Stout". Black with a quickly diminishing Brown head. Medium body with low carbonation. Typical dark roast malts but overall a little bland and simple in flavour and like some of the other Dark Isle brews it lacks in bitterness.

Dark black and opaque liquid with a thin tan head. Thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. Slighty bitter mouthfeel. Flavour, mild malt/coffee. Quite nice. (330ml dark brown bottle, labelled "Dark Isle Stout", ’superior’ not on label.)

2004 NFOB - Poured a good black colour and average head taht deposited some lacing. Aroma was pretty heavy toasted burnt malt and chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium with chocolate and toasted malt dominating flavours (how surprising). Nice dry stout.
