The yeast strain used for the brewing of the pale, dry American Ales is specially imported from the USA, along with Cascade and Centennial hops, to produce this pale ale. The low colour Maris Otter malt provides a perfect light colour and dryness to complement the crisp taste and full aroma of the hops.

Tap at the Kings Head Guildford. First taste English, not American. Second taste US... strange. Sweetish, with fairly harsh afters. Ok, though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon peel, some pine, some peach, subtle honey and floral, grassy hops. Taste of lemon, peach, grapefruit, lots of floral, grassy hops, subtle resin and some sweet honey. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. This is a beer I can drink all night. Well balanced and a great hoppy character. A good beer.

Served in the Wenlock Arms by Keith Richards slightly younger brother. Pours a clear golden yellow with an off white head. The smell is earthy malt, dank. some citrus. The taste is citrus, some dankness, crisp and clean with slight bitterness. Light in body with fine elegant carbonation. A pleasant pint!

Cask Kings Head Carlisle. Sweet fryits aroma, flavours of peach and melon. Soft and delicate on the tongue, jammy and full flavoured. Deceptively drinkable.

A few pints at the Schooner Gateshead. Slightly hazy gold, with a thin, enduring white head. Familiar aromas to the style of citrus, and tropical fruit. Grapefruit flavour, more fruit: sharp, juicy and pleasingly dry in the finish. Rather delicious.
