Cask: Regular.
The yeast strain used for the brewing of the pale, dry American Ales is specially imported from the USA, along with Cascade and Centennial hops, to produce this pale ale. The low colour Maris Otter malt provides a perfect light colour and dryness to complement the crisp taste and full aroma of the hops.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light grass hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth light caramel malt hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Hits the spot perfectly. An Enligh IPA with American hops. Nothing elaborate. Delicious from the cask - a little warm and soapy. Would love to see more of this in English pubs.

Tap. Light yellow, clear. Small white head. Aroma is faint with citrus and pine. Taste has some pine and citrus. Body is very weak and watery. Aftertaste is very good, bitter with piny overtone. Doesnt make up for the complete lack of body.

Cask. Almost clear, amber color. Frothy head. Piney and citrusy hop aromas, a hint of ripe peach and slight caramel malt aroma. Round, slightly biscuity maltiness has balancing residual sweetness. Intense, resinous hop flavour. Dry, slightly ashy bitter finish. Round and deviously soft texture, medium body. Impressive APA.

Cask (gravity) at The Wheatsheaf, Shedfield, Southampton. Powerful hoppy aroma. Nice light colour, ducking the trend to go ultra-pale. Taste is of resiny hop with a crisp malt taste. Long, dry and bitter aftertaste that leads to another mouthful. This is a great pint, full of flavour and becoming one of my favourites.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of straw, hops, malts and butter. Sweet malty flavour, light hops. Bit thin. Finish malts, light bitter, pronounced butter.
