UPDATED: SEP 7, 2007 Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden. Buttery malt aroma with a god amount of grapefruity hops. Sweet and malty with pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Towards the finish hops take over more. Perhaps not the most complex of beers, but damn good. Too soft for the style, which however is a good thing.

@ Harp. Very pale straw. Loose cask head. Mmmm pedio nose. Light flowery, fruity as well. Fairly bitter on the tongue and fruity. Light and refreshing, but really more an English summer ale than anything American, despite the c-hop character.

Re-rate, oooh which shall I pick? Bottled fresh from the Butcher’s Arms in Herne. I had had a full day on the Saturday and bought a 2 litre bottle of this to take home. Therefore on the Sunday I wasn’t really feeling like a beer, and then I had to have this to make sure it didn’t go off. The grapefruit hop is outstanding and never let down or unbalanced by the malt. The two move together beautifully. A stunning APA
