Cask; Seasonal - September.
A chestnut coloured mellow ale with a hint of maltiness. A style of beer reminiscent of the rural English brews of a century ago.

Cask@Black Door, Helsinki. Clear amber-copper color, creamy off-white head. Strong honeyish hoppy nose with hints of lemon. Good malty body. Crisp, very bitter flavor. Hints of honey. Very nice long bitter aftertaste. Good session beer. Sample two days later from same cask was much worse.

Cask-conditioned at the Castle, London 16/10/08. Deep amber in colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, spicy hops and a touch of caramel. Flavours of oranges, indeterminate spices and grassy hops, with a decent bitter finish. Ok.

on cask @ Wenlock Arms (London). Clear amber with a frothy off-white head. The aroma is herbal/bitter offset by dry grain. It tastes the same, less herbal character, it seems to want to be a bit honey-sweet. Average body, slightly astringent, a surprisingly long somewhat bitter finish, which eventually seems a bit harsh. Decent enough.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
(Near end of barrel, tipped, but not old.) Rich orange. Tangy English hoppy aroma. Quite drying in the mouth. Very tasty English bitter taste. Nice as a quaffer, but characterful too. Proper English beer like ’ow it should be!

Cask. A bit hazy yellow colour. Vinegar in the aroma, but not in a bad way. A bit vanilla both in aroma and flavour, good finish but not too long.

Casked. Deep goldeny amber colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is tea leafs, grass and mild caramel. Flavour is caramel malts, tealeafs, hay and some weird earthy/dryness in it. Twisted.

Cask@St. Albans BF. As mes mentions this has quite a lot of tea character. Besides that, theres not much going on, very short finish, with an odd dry watery finish. NOt one of their best, usually they kick arse!
