3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at Craft Beer Co Brixton. It pours hazy golden, with a medium off-white head. The nose is dough, spice, green banana, citrus pith, orange and tangerine. The taste is banana, bitter grapefruit, spice, astringency, lemon pith, faint chlorine and alcohol warmth, with a bitter, lightly spicy finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Donít think this clash of styles quite works in this case as the yeast takes over.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: grassy, floral hops, hints of caramel malt, maybe some yeast. Appearance: dark clear brown, small head, yet initially almost exploded. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: medium carbonation, light bitters coming up, taste of hops, citrus, floral ones. Overall: not bad IPA, yet missing some complexity in both, aroma and palate. Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery, Tongham.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Domus Birrae. BBF 20AUG13. :( Pours orange gold with a slight whitish head. Aromas of earth, resin and floral. Med + body. Flavor is very hoppy - earth/resin - Belgian yeast/fruit ester - pretty malty backbone - but thereís certainly no excess sugar. Thereís a lot of hop in this. Mild hop burn develops, and itís finishing pretty darn bitter. Sometimes I think the fruit ester is tropical. Then I donít. Itís pretty good stuff. Being a bit long in the tooth hasnít resulted in anything disturbing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle bb10/06/14. Pours a light orange amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly meaty, grassy, spicy, yeast is there too. Medium body, medium carbonation. Kinda fishy like fish sauce, some sweet caramel, grass and a non-specific citrus at the end, but Iím struggling with this one. I donít get it.
