cask at Gallows enjoyed in two days 5 pints celebrating FatPhil and Anna’s 10th anniversary. Color:black Taste: very hazy notes...First sips coffee chocolate and also 2nd day hops kicks afterwards. Very tasty enjoyed with dear friends at my local from my favorite brewery ( former deliverer of my daily dose of Hophead)

Very dark reddy brown. Large, persistent tight-to-doughy beige head. Served perfectly - thanks Tomppa - a joy to behold. Soft roasty aromas, nothing hugely prominent. Excellent smooth palate, slightly viscous, and with very soft carbonation. Lovely full-bodied ale body, roasty, and with a sweetness to the roast hinting at coffee. Well-restrained hops give it a little crispness and stop it being sweet. So incredibly drinkable. Goes down like a session, tasty and delicious to the last drop, pint after pint! Thanks Anna for this lovely surprise! Thanks Dark Star too for your flexibility! Looking forward to our 20th Anniversary now... .
