On tap at Oliver Twist in Stockhom. It poured a very dark amber liquid with a small light beige head. Malty flavour with bread, caramel, toast, a hint of flowers and a light bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel and medium thick body. Nice real ale, enough flavour to make it nice to drink.

@ Harp. Dark nutty brown. The aroma has light toffee and unfortunately a little pedio (which so often the English punters don’t seem to notice or mind). Hints of toffee and chocolate. Perhaps a bit tart.

Cask @ Harp. Near-black, frothy cask head. Aroma is disappointing with some pedio and random bugginess. Is it the taps @ the Harp because several of the beers have had this same flaw in the aroma? Palate is a bit sticky but is quaffable nonetheless. Nice roast in the finish. The malt is gorgeous and it gets better with every sip. Would like to try again.
