Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. Dark brown with a beige head. Smooth easy drinking beer. Soft and complex, the beer drinks like session ale for the first half. In fact your searching for flavour when its there. Just be patient.

[cask, The Drapers Arms, London][as Dark Star Original] Pours a deep reddish black with a very thin head due to the southern style. Aroma is fruity – dark stone fruit – roasted malt and some toffee. Flavours are similar. It’s fantastically drinkable, I knocked back three pints in a sitting before I realised what had happened. Long, woody, bitter finish – really recommended (as is the Drapers Arms) [16032012]

05/06/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (cask). Spillata a pompa. Carbonazione soft, consistenza oleosa, acquosa e molto beverina.
